This was a conversation that I had with a gift card scammer. I think its safe to say that I made them quite angry

Me: okay thanks mr peter willison
Scammer: Well don't let this $50 delay tomorrow morning to receive this ATM card Immediately at your door step
Scammer: Go to any store around you to buy Amazon card or apple card $50 that's all to handle this ATM card at your door step Immediately
Me: okay thanks
Scammer: What are you sending the $50 to receive your tracking number Immediately
Me: I don't have one
Scammer: What time are you sending the $50 tomorrow morning
Me: I'll try at 11 AM, but I currently have covid-19 so it may be delayed
Scammer: What type of card are you buying tomorrow morning
Scammer: To proceed this delivery Immediately at your door step for you to start making use of your ATM card Immediately
Me: okay
Me: google play
Scammer: We don't accept Google play card
Me: fuck
Scammer: Only Amazon card or apple card $50
Scammer: Or steam card
Me: i may be able to do steam card
Scammer: That's good to confirm this delivery Immediately
Scammer: Soon as you send the steam card tomorrow morning you're going to have your tracking information Immediately

Scammer: Ok James
Scammer: Good morning James [Censoring fake last name just in case]
Scammer: Scracth the card and send it
Scammer: Open it
Me: i did, the code is [already redeemed steam card]
Scammer: But you need to scratch the card for me to understand
Scammer: [already redeemed steam card]
Scammer: Is that correct
Me: Yes, it's correct
Scammer: Good
Scammer: Hold on
Scammer: I need to see that receipt
Scammer: What card is This
Me: sorry i threw the rest away
Scammer: Send the receipt I need to confirm
Me: if you dont believe that is mine i can write my name
Me: 50 dollars steam card
Scammer:
Me: huh, it worked when i tried it
Scammer: Are you joking with this
Scammer: If you bought card they will give you a receipt
Me: no, i wanted to make sure it worked first
Me: when i put it in it gave me 50 dollars
Scammer: I need to see the receipt of this steam card
Scammer: Or this will be canceled
Me: sorry, i threw it away
Me: theres not much else that can be done
Me: i guess we will have to cancel
Scammer: You're joking
Me: no i am not joking
Me: this is the first time i have ever done something like this, im sorry
Scammer: Send it

Me: yes it is, this is proof that i did not take an image off of google
Scammer: Is this a steam card or Google play
Me: it is a steam gift card
Scammer: This is not proof
Scammer: No receipt no card image
Me: 
Me: it appears that the balance has gone into my steam accint when i tried to check if it worked
Scammer: Yes because is already been used
Me: oh well
Me: i dont want to go out because i dont want to risk exposing others to covid
Scammer: Or can you send it by Bitcoin
Me: i do not trust bitcoin because there are too many scams and it uses up too much energy
